Joan M. (Furey) Downing

Devoted wife of the late James Joseph Downing Sr. Loving mother of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wright (Kathleen) of Norwood, Mr. and Mrs. David Fox (Denise) of Norwood, Dr. and Mrs. Jonathan Ellis (Maureen) of Milton, Mr. and Mrs. David Cronan (Debra) of Norwood, Mr. and Mrs. James Joseph Downing Jr. (Marion) of Norwood, Mr. and Mrs. John Downing (Theresa) of MN, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Downing (Kathleen) of Dedham and predeceased by William Furey Downing. Cherished sister of the late William Furey and John Furey. Also survived by 18 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, Tuesday, March 10th at 9:00am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood at 10:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment private. Visiting hours at the funeral home Monday, March 9th from 4:00-8:00pm.
