DONOVAN, Francis, M. Sr. of Norwood Nov. 26, 2010. Devoted husband of the late Frieda (Petrovick) Donovan. Loving father of John Donovan and his wife Michelle of Medfield and the late Francis M. Donovan Jr. Dear grandfather of Patrick Donovan and Casey Donovan of Medfield. Devoted brother of Margaret Frates of Beverly, Helen F. Donovan of Norwood and the late John P. Donovan Jr. and James J. Donovan. Cherished son of the late Dr. John Donovan and Helen (McCarthy) Donovan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD Tues. Nov. 30 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Norwood at 9 AM. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Highland Cemetery, Norwood. The family will receive visitors at the Funeral Home, Mon. Nov 29, 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Francis may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701. Late employee Hollingsworth and Vose for over fifty years. Francis was a life long Norwood resident. He was a graduate of St. Catherine School, Norwood High School Class of 1939 and attended Boston College. He was a communicant at St. Catherine Church and was involved in many organizations in Norwood.
