Ethel B. Brown

Mrs. Brown was born in Cambridge, raised in Dorchester and lived in Norwood for 55 years. A graduate of Lasell Jr. College, class of 1941, she worked for Millis Transportation Co. and Wellesley College prior to her retirement.

She was the daughter of the late Claude and Jane (Rice) Boudreau; and beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Brown, Jr.; loving mother of Peter T. Brown of Norwood and the late Jeffrey B. Brown; cherished grandmother of Emily M. and Julia E. Brown, both of Norwood; dear aunt of Sheila, Kevin, Dani, Paul, Susan, Laura Brown. Also survived by many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 23 at 1:00pm in the First Congregational Church of Norwood, 100 Winter Street, Norwood.

Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, September 22, from 4:00-8:00pm at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte.1A), Norwood.

Interment will be private in Highland Cemetery, Norwood.
