Ellen Morris-Manchester

She was born in Paterson, NJ and was the daughter to the late Harry and Betty Morris, predeceased by her sister Susan Morris-Klein. She is survived by her husband Keith Manchester of 39 years, her son Justin Manchester, brother Bobby Morris and sister Jane Morris Webster as well as many beloved in laws, nieces and nephews.

Ellen Studied Speech-Language pathology and Psychology at Hofstra University where she received her Master of Arts degree. She held various roles throughout her 30+ year career in healthcare and was devoted to her patients and colleagues.

Everyone that knew Ellen admired her compassion and ability to care for others. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, especially the family vacations.

Ellen lived her life fiercely and always gave 110% to everything she did even after her diagnosis of Corticobasal Degeneration (CBD). She was an avid animal lover and even became a Boston sports fan.

Ellen will be missed by the many lives she touched. Please join us to celebrate Ellen’s life on Wednesday, September 14th from 4:00 to 7:00pm at Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., Norwood.
