Dear Mary, James, and Paul,
I am so sorry to have missed Ellie's services yesterday. I had been in California and just got in late  Friday night and did not hear of your very sad news until Shirley Dillon called me tonight.  Along with  Shirley I was part of Ellie's bridge group and learned to love her and enjoy her company. Please accept my very sincerest sympathy.  She was a lovely woman.

I played bridge with your Mother and always enjoyed being with her. I was so shocked to hear of her sudden passing. She always seemed to have so much energy. I never got to meet any of her family. I am from Framingham. When the ladies came to my house before my husband's death, I think they thought they were going to New York City. I will miss her.

Mary,Jimmy and Paul  I have so many memories of your Mom and what a great friend and neighbor she was to my parents.  We lived in such a special neighborhood where we were lucky to have so many memories and that our parents still lived in the same homes for years.  Our prayers are with all of you.

Mrs Dyer transformed my life in so many small moments of tremendous impact.  I love you and carry your blessings in my heart and pray for your family as they make this hard journey. Peace.

Only recently did I meet your mother. I delivered books to her as part of the outreach service at the library. Last time I saw her she spoke of her lifelong love of reading. She was such a lady and a lovely person. So sorry to hear of her passing.

To the Dyer family, please accept my deepest sympathies. Eleanor was blessed to live a long, full life and had many happy memories. May you cherish the memories of her in your heart as you turn to God for comfort and peace during this difficult time. James 4:8.

Ellie and I worked together many years ago at Filene's. I have very fond memories of her, she was kind, caring, and oh so patient. As I was a young college student, Ellie extended her kindness and motherly advice to keep me on track. She was a wonderful lady, I'm sure she will be missed.

We have so many good memories of your Mom and Dad, I was always proud to say she was our neighbor. From Texas we send our sincere condolences. The Egan's (across the street)

My heartfelt condolences to you and your family.  Your Mom was such a wonderful woman.  I have such fond memories of your Mom (and Dad).  They were always so happy to see me, and welcomed me with open arms. (They were also probably equally as happy when I left also).  They were so kind and generous to me always.  As a parent today, I wish I can display half the love and genrosity they did with me for the kids that come to my house.  I am grateful to have known them, and will never forget what they meant to me as a young boy.
