Eleanor Marie (Maguire) Cleary

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis X. and Margaret (Whelton) Maguire and the beloved wife of the late Joseph F. Cleary.

Loving mother of Jeanne Smith and her husband Glenn of Walpole, Janet Edgar and her husband Frederick of Dighton, Joseph Cleary and his wife Elizabeth of Braintree, Joan Kelly and her husband John of Attleboro and Jack Cleary and his wife Nancy of Mansfield; devoted sister of the late Francis Maguire and his wife Kathleen, Madelyn Crowley and her husband John, Charles Maguire and his wife Helena and Robert Maguire. She is also survived by her sister-in-law, Jane Maguire of Abington, 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, October 8th at 11:30am in Blessed Sacrament Church, 10 Diamond Street, Walpole. Interment will follow the Mass in Highland Cemetery, Norwood. Calling hours will be held on Thursday morning at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte. 1A), Norwood, from 9:00-11:00am, prior to the Mass.
