Eileen C. Donovan

DONOVAN, Eileen C. (Cantwell), 93, of Norwood, Friday, May 8, 2015 in Norwood. Born in Somerville, the daughter of the late William and Annie (Kerwin) Cantwell, she was the beloved wife of the late Paul J. Donovan; the loving mother of Kevin Donovan and his wife, Kathleen of Intervale, NH, Stephen and Mary Ellen Donovan both of Norwood, and Brian Donovan and his wife, Barbara of Leominster; and the cherished grandmother of Kirk, Christopher and Molly Donovan. Eileen worked as an Executive Secretary for many years until her retirement in 1988 from GTE, where she had worked in Needham and Westborough for several years. Her funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 12, at 11:30 AM at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St., NORWOOD, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM at St. Timothy Church, 650 Nichols St., Norwood. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, prior to the Mass from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the funeral home.
