Edna "Mtzi" Wenzel

Edna M. "Mitzi" (Green) Chute Wenzel of Norwood, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024, at age 91.

Mitzi was born in Boston, the daughter of William Green and Edna (Hankin). Mitzi raised her family in Norwood and Sharon. She worked for many years at Metal Bellows-Infusaid and took pride in her detailed work fabricating infusion pumps. Her greatest joy in life was her family. Mitzi had a zest for fun and an exuberant personality that will be missed by all who knew her.

Mitzi was predeceased by her son Douglas R. Chute, brothers Joseph, Dennis, and William Green, and sister Dottie Piantedosi.

She is survived by her sister Priscilla Shaughnessy and six children: Donald R. Chute, Jr. (Pauline), Dana R. Chute (Pamela), Diane R. Van Ryn (Joel), Nancy E. DeAngelo (Michael), Gregory J. Chute. She is also survived by Jennifer Casey Hagen (Matt) to whom she was the "Day Mother," and twelve grandchildren: Michael Chute (Kalliope), Richard Chute, Seth Chute, Michael DeAngelo (Lauren), Jenna Martin (Mike), Rachel DeAngelo (David), Ryan DeAngelo, Douglas Chute, Jr., Shana Mitchell (Joseph), Paige Payer (Philip), Gregory Chute, Jr., Amy Jacobson (Aaron); and eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 308 West Squantum Street, QUINCY, on Sunday, June 16, at 1 P.M. A reception will follow in Westwood. Arrangements were made with Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, Norwood.
