Buckley, Dorothy E. (Beazley), 94, of East Walpole passed away on January 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Francis J. Buckley. Loving mother of Maureen Buckley, Bradford Buckley, Darlene Buckley, and Bryan Buckley. Cherished grandmother of Caroline, Christopher, Gabriel, Sophia, and Viviane.
Dorothy was born in Melrose and grew up in South Weymouth. She took a business course in high school, and then worked in Boston until the birth of her first child. As a young mother, she volunteered to be a Girl Scout Brownie leader. When her four children were older, she became certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and worked at the Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton.
Visitation will be held at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rte 1A), Norwood, on Wednesday, January 19, from 9:30 to 11 a.m. There will be a service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
