Colleen M. (Browne) Trainor

She was born in Chicago, IL, daughter of the late George E. Browne and Margaret (Nicholson) Browne. She attended Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and later in life obtained an Associate degree from Norwalk Community College.

She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas M. Trainor Sr., loving sister of Margo (Mohamed) Elzeini of Dakota Dunes, SD and Marilyn Greene of Chicago, IL., loving mother of 7 children; Madeline (Timothy) Braun of Jacksonville, FL, Kathleen Trainor of Chicago, Thomas (Donna) Trainor Jr. of Sherborn, MA, Mark (Tanya) Trainor of Mesa, AZ, Daniel Trainor of Tewksbury, MA, Robert (Lisa) Trainor of Wrentham, MA, and John (Deborah) Trainor of Southbury, CT. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by granddaughter Justine Trainor.

For several years, Colleen was a real estate agent at Century 21 office in Westwood and active in the Westwood Evening Garden Club. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Parish for over 40 years, and volunteered at the Walpole Community Food Pantry.

Funeral from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole St. (Rte. 1A) Norwood on Thursday, February 23rd at 9:00am, followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Timothy Parish at 10:00am. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00 -8:00pm. Interment Westwood Cemetery.
