Anne Sheehan

Anne (Green) Sheehan, age 92, of Canton, passed away on March 2, 2024. She was the wife of the late John E. Sheehan and the daughter of the late James Howard Green and Anna Green.

During her life Anne had a vast scope of hobbies and interests. She is a talented wood carver, loved photography, cooking, and gardening. She was an avid reader of all types of literature, from history to art to Shakespeare. After obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching, she attended further educational courses enough to receive a Master’s Degree and continued taking classes into her 80’s.

Anne was a devoted mother to the late David Sheehan, Joseph Sheehan and his wife Joyce Sheehan of East Walpole, her daughter Virginia Paduano and her husband, the late John Paduano of Norwood, and the late Richard Sheehan and his wife Rosario Sheehan as well as a loving nana to multiple beloved grandchildren. She is preceded by her husband, the late John E. Sheehan.

Service at the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street, (Rt.1A) NORWOOD, on Friday, March 8 at 11:00 AM. Visitation prior in the funeral home from 9:30 – 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Canton Corner Cemetery, 1600 Washington St, Canton.
