Anne Marie Dunn

Anne Marie Dunn, of Norwood, passed away at her home on Thursday, February 22, 2024 at age 67.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne (Hickey) Dunn. Anne Marie was a 1974 graduate of Norwood High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor's Degree from Framingham State College, and Master's Degree from Lesley College. She taught for many years at John Rogers Middle School in Rockland.

Anne Marie was a fierce and loyal friend and touched many lives with her generous spirit. She loved soaking up the sun on the beach, swimming in the ocean, and sharing her love of the ocean with others. She had a contagious enthusiasm for life and never grew tired of visits to Disney World and celebrating holidays. Her legacy will live on in the lives of friends and family and the lives of the students she so loved to teach.

Anne Marie was the devoted mother of Jessica Dunn, and the proud grandmother of John Dunn, both of Norwood. She was the sister of John Dunn and his wife Sandy of Falmouth.

Services from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Monday March 4, 2024 at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood at 11 AM. Visiting Hours in the Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-6 PM. Interment will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
