Ann M. Folan

FOLAN, Ann M. (Folan) age 100, of Norwood passed away at her home on Tuesday March 11, 2025.

Born in Callowfeenish Carna, Ireland, she was the daughter of the late Festus and Barbara (Folan) Folan. Ann worked at Norwood Hospital for many years. She was a devoted member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and an active participant in the ladies sodality group.

Ann was the beloved wife of the late Stephen E. Folan, and the devoted mother of Barbara and her husband John Mason of Needham, Kathleen Folan of Norwood, Brenda and her husband Peter Budge of Newton, and Ann Marie and her husband Robert DeFlaminis of Franklin. She was the sister of the late Margaret Naughton, Sally Grealish, and Patrick Folan, and the proud grandmother of Robert DeFlaminis, Allison DeFlaminis, John Mason and his wife Jamie, Stephen Mason, and Paul Budge and his wife Hannah. Ann is survived by many special nieces and nephews both in the United States and Ireland.

Services from the Gillooly Funeral Home, 126 Walpole Street (Rt. 1A) NORWOOD on Monday March 17, at 10 AM. Funeral Mass in St. Catherine of Siena Parish at 11 o'clock. Visiting Hours in the Funeral Home on Sunday from 4-8 PM. Private Interment at Highland Cemetery, Norwood will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Ann's memory to St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 547 Washington Street, Norwood Mass. 02062.
