William D. Kuhn, 72, of Norwich, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in New Berlin to William and Barbara Kuhn. He is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Deborah Kuhn; his daughters, Tammy MacDonald, and Melissa and Aaron Demmon; his step-children, Eric Marsheski, and Loren and Jesse Clemens; his grandchildren, Corbin Demmon, Kyra Demmon, Logan Hartwell, Mika MacDonald, Kali MacDonald, and Edward Michael Beck; his step-grandchildren, Maggie Marsheski, Oliver Hilts, Avery Clemens, and Izaak Clemens; his great-grandson, Eli Manchester; his mother, Barbara Baldwin; his sister, Linda Johnson; many nieces and nephews; along with his good friends, Michael and Beverly Smith, Charlie and Marcy Tyler, Ross and Carol Manwarren, Dennis and Liann Sprague, and many others. He was predeceased by his father, William Kuhn; and his brothers, Robert Kuhn, and Mike Kuhn.
William served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War, and returned to Norwich and made his living as an equipment operator in the construction business. He was a member of American Legion Post 189 in Norwich. In his spare time, William could usually be found fly fishing in one of the local waterways or hunting in the nearby forests. He also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
William’s family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Hospice of Chenango County for their compassionate care during his illness.
William will be laid to rest at Wayside Rest Cemetery in Pharsalia at a later date.
