Sandra K. Moore

Sandra “Sandy” Kathryn Moore, 76 of Norwich; daughter of the late Raymond and Marjorie Deady, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on Thursday, July 4, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with dementia.

Sandy was the center of her family's world; an amazing mother and grandmother who always loved them unconditionally. Her family always came first. Sandy shared a very special bond with her great grandchildren Anderson and Charlotte. She loved playing with them and chasing them around the yard giggling the whole time. A hardworking, caring, people loving person, Sandy was a true friend to all.

Surviving Sandy is her spouse, James Moore; her sister, Michele Deady; her sons, Shawn (Veronica) Houck, and Terrance (Christy) Houck; and her beloved daughter, Deanne (Suzanne) Burton; also surviving are 7 grandchildren; Jensyn (Jessie) Penta, Jared Houck, Cameron Houck, Skye Houck, Terissa Houck, Joshua Houck, and Alexa Burton; along with 3 great grandchildren; Anderson Penta, Charlotte Penta and Laine Bush; several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Along with her parents, Sandy was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen Corey; and her granddaughter, Presley Rain Houck.

A graveside service for Sandy will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 1 p.m.
