Rosemary F. Beltz

Rosemary was born in Norwich on September 16, 1939 the daughter of Joseph and Nancy (Scafidi) Frank. She grew up in Norwich and was a 1957 graduate of the Norwich High School. On November 28, 1959 in St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church she married David Beltz who passed away May 9, 2010. Soon thereafter she and her husband went to San Diego to fulfill his military obligation and in 1962 returned to Norwich where they remained to raise their family. Rosemary was well known in the Norwich community having worked for Harrington’s Greenhouses for a period of 12 years and then on to Jim Cushman’s Law office for over 10 years.

Rosemary’s main focus in her life, along with her husband Dave, was raising her family making sure they were well taken care of. She enjoyed cooking and in later years traveling with her husband.

Rosemary is survived by her children, John (Julee) Beltz of Norwich, Karen DelMonico and her companion Braxton Tomsic and Michael (Laura) Beltz of West Seneca, NY. Her grandchildren Alicia (Michael) Dandria, Michael (Anna) DelMonico, Kyle Beltz, Lindsay Beltz and fiancée Zach Stecher, Jamie (Brian) Doll and Jessica (Joel) Teribury. Also surviving are 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband Dave, Rosemary was predeceased by her brothers John and Joseph Frank.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary will be held on Friday, December 2, 2022 at 10:00 am from St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Church. The Rev Ralph A. Bove will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Friends may call at the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4-6 pm. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 3:15 pm at the funeral home.
