Roberta L Morris

Roberta was born in Norwich on December 16, 1959 the daughter of Robert and Marie (Law) Slater Sr. She was a LPN specializing in home care and had also worked at Valley View Nursing Home. She cared more for others than herself. Roberta was a talented musician, poet, artist and anything creative. Without question she had a big heart and would give you the shirt off her back so that you could have two. In short Roberta was the most caring, giving person one could ever meet.

Roberta is survived by her daughter Stacy Slater of Portsmouth, Ohio, Amber Morris of Wilmington, NC and Miranda Law of Norwich, her sisters Terrie (Tom) Owens of Valdese, NC, Sandra (Gary) Follett of Valdese, NC and her brother Robert L. Slater Jr of Oxford. Also surviving are 2 grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Roberta was predeceased by her parents Robert L. Slater Sr. and Marie L. Goodrich and brother Darren Slater.

There will be no formal services at this time.

Arrangements are with the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home.
