Norman F. Price Sr.

Born May 18, 1950 in Sidney, NY. He was the son of Norman F Price and the late Sophrona (Merritt) Hodge. He was raised in Oxford by his mom and step-dad, Eugene Hodge. He married Dale E. Price, November 13, 1971 and they raised 5 children. He would later move to Norwich, NY and have his 6th child.

Norm had a passion for music and he loved to play his guitar. He passed on the love of music to his children. He loved spending time with family. Norm was also a creative soul. He could often be found creating cigar box guitars, painting ceramics or building models. He also loved fishing and hunting. He will be greatly missed by those he left behind.

Norman was predeceased by his wife, Dale; his siblings: Nancy, Bill, Donnie, Howard, and Walt; and his mother, Sophrona. He is survived by his 6 children: Angela C. Price of Walton, NY; Pamela L. (Mackenzie) Hall of Cobleskill, NY; Chad A. (Doreen) Price of Norwich, NY; Amy B. Price of Waverly, NY; Norman F. Price of Norwich, NY; and Shania L. Kenyon of McGraw, NY; his long-term partner, Dawn Coleman; his siblings: Robert, Barb and Nathan ; six grandchildren: Zeno, Jeffrey, Adam, Ashton, Gabriel and Noel; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Riverview Cemetery, Oxford, NY at 11 am. Pastor Brad Keator of Chenango Christian church to officiate. A Celebration of Life to follow at Boname Park, Oxford, NY.
