Jason M. Drake, 44, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020. He was predeceased by his father, Stephen Drake. Survivors include his wife, Lindsay Willey-Drake; his children, Stephen and Ryan Drake, and Leighann and Marcus Sutliff; his grandson, River Sutliff; his mother and step-father, Rosalind and Gary Ryan; as well as his best friends, Daniel (Danny) Switzer and Matthew (Coop) Cooper.
Jason attended SUNY Morrisville where he earned his Associate’s Degree in Business Technology and his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. He was employed locally by Frontier Communications. Jason will be remembered as a man with a big heart, always ready to give to those less fortunate. His family and friends knew him to be loyal and honest with a smile that was contagious. He loved his children endlessly they were his pride and joy his greatest creation, the #1 most important people in his life alongside his mother. He was never far from them between golfing, fishing, camping, theme parks, vacations and family game nights. Jason always had a way of making his friends feel like they were part of his family. Jason had an analytical and strategical mind he was so creative. Jason loved sports, he was an avid Brooklyn Nets fan and was the New York Giants biggest fan. The 1986 Giants team built the foundation that started his love for the team with his favorite player LT no.56 at the forefront. Jason frequently dedicated in and-volunteered his time to the communities youth between helping out at his kids football and baseball games, to coaching his sons YMCA basketball teams and Gus Macker teams. Music was one of Jason's passions. He loved all music, he was the king of tapes. This love of music carried over to startup his current favorite past time, DJing gigs. Jason will be missed by many. Beyond measure he's a one of a kind.
Memorial services for Jason will take place privately at the convenience of the family.
