He was born January 3, 1933 in Norwich, the son of Morrell and Eva (Steward) Snow.
Don lived his entire life in Norwich, graduating from the Norwich High School class of 1952. After serving two years in the United States Army, he returned to his hometown and spent 38 years with Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals, later Proctor & Gamble.
In 1957, he married Joanne Case Snow, and the couple had three children. Don and Joanne enjoyed many happy years being with family and traveling throughout the United States.
Don bowled with Norwich leagues, was an avid golfer (with 2 holes-in-one), and a big fan of Norwich High School sports.
A loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, he will be greatly missed by all.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Joanne; his daughters, Terri (Richard) Holly of Lakeland, FL, Brenda (Terry) Redd of Norwich, and his son, Christopher Snow (Sharon Valentine) of North Pharsalia, as well as four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Glen, Edward, Howard, Westly, and Richard Snow; and his sister, Pauline Clark.
Out of respect for Don’s wishes, there will be no public calling hours or funeral services. Burial will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Don’s memory to Norwich High School sports boosters or to the Norwich Fire Department EMS division.
