Debra D Miles

Debra D. Miles, 70, of Sherburne, passed away on Sunday morning, September 24, 2023 at Wilson Hospital. Deb was born on August 25, 1953 in Norwich to the late Kenneth and Wanda (Rathbone) Burlingame. She graduated from school in South New Berlin and spent most of her life in the South New Berlin and Sherburne area.

Deb was employed at the Mirabito store in Sherburne and loved working with her customers. She also loved spending time with her family at family game night, as well as reading and crocheting. Deb will be remembered as a strong, kind-hearted person who saw the positive in everything and was a fighter until the end.

Deb is survived by her children, Joddy and Doug Ackley, Heather Burrell, Chad Morris, Robert and Holly Miles, Shannon Young, and Luke Ray; her grandghildren, Derrick Wright, Dalin Wright, Keagan Miles, Jacob Burrell, Brady Morris, Zack and Megan Miles, Alyssa Miles, MacKenzie Miles, Darren Miles, Abby Young, and Logan Ray; several great-grandchildren; her sister, Kandase Burlingame; her brother, LeRoy Gale; as well as many nieces and nephews. Deb was predeceased by the love of her life, John Miles on December 17, 2001.

At Deb’s request, there will be no formal funeral services.
