Corey Jones

Corey was born on May 4, 1976 in Brooklyn the son of Anthony Jones and Linda Samuels Jones. He spent the early years of his life in Brooklyn before moving to the Norwich area where he attended the Norwich High School and was a member of the wrestleing team. Throughout his life Corey was a comedian who had the ability to make people laugh.

Corey is survived by his son Jordan Crandall of Norwich, his mother Linda Jones of Brooklyn, his maternal grandmother Ollie M. Samuels, a sister Wendy Jones-Henry, his brothers Anthony (Gary) Jones and Chad Samuels, a step-sister Safiyah Jones, his long time companion Kelly Crandall of Norwich along with aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Corey was predeceased by his father Anthony Jones earlier this year.

A celebration of Corey’s life will be held Thursday, Dec. 12, at 12:00 Noon from the R.J.Fahy Funeral Home. Pastor Brad Keator of the Chenango Christian Church will offiicate.
