Brian had a blessed life. Brian was a God-fearing man who made it a point to live for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. In doing so, he has left a lasting impression on so many people’s lives.
Brian was born on June 13, 1964 in Scranton, PA. He was the only child of Romeyn and Elaine Kipp. They lived in Aberdeen for his younger years and later moved to Holmesville, NY.
Brian attended Bob Jones University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Education. In 1994, Brian began his teaching career which became a major part of his life. Between 1994 and 2023, he taught at many Christian school including Calvary Christian Academy in Huntingdon, PA, Red Lion Christian School, Perth Bible Church, and Calvary Baptist Church Academy in Glen Burnie, MD. In his early career, he managed both Blue Ox Convenience Store and Mirabito Convenience Store.
Brian and Barbara were married in 1994 in Holmesville, NY. Two years later they gave birth to their first son, Alexander Kipp; then, in 1998, their second son, Devon Kipp, was born. This past June, Brian and Barbara celebrated their 29th anniversary.
Brian was very passionate about teaching and coaching at the multiple schools where he taught. He devoted many hours to educating his students and athletes.
Brian was a loving family man. He loved watching baseball, playing basketball, walking the dog, gardening, and spending time with his wife and sons. Brian had one grandson, Landon, born in 2023, whom he loved deeply.
Above all, Brian believed in others. He always said that the best kind of person was reliable, had a good attitude, and was honest. Brian embodied each of these characteristics.
Brian is survived by his wife, Barbara Kipp; 2 sons and their spouses, Alex and Ashli Kipp, Devon and Nicole Kipp; his father, Romeyn Kipp; and his grandson, Landon Kipp, son of Alex and Ashli.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elaine Kipp who passed in 2021.
Brian, thank you for being a part of our lives. We are all going to miss you and long for the day when we can see you again.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday July 30 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church in Glen Burnie, MD with a ceremony to follow. Flowers in memory of Brian may be purchased from Maher’s Florist in Pasadena, MD.
A graveside service for Brian will be held on Saturday, August 5, at 11:00 am at the Riverside Cemetery of South New Berlin.
