Arlene Bevilacqua

Arlene R. Bevilacqua, 77, of South New Berlin, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born in Norwich to the late George and Jerusha Montgomery. Arlene grew up in the Norwich area and went to work at Unison where she retired after 35 years of service. Her family was very important to her and she enjoyed her weekly card games with her sisters. She also enjoyed looking at lighthouses and Bible study was a lifelong passion.

Arlene leaves behind her sons, Timothy (Michelle) Miles, and Todd (Leigh Savino) Bevilacqua; her grandchildren, Eric (Lindsay) Miles, Rachel (Kyle) Johnson, Alysha (Corey Palmer) Miles, and Gregory (Alicia) Miles; 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Georgia (Roy) Stockwell, and Judy (Richard) Smith; her brothers, Henry (Suzy) Montgomery, and David (Fran) Montgomery; as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Arlene was predeceased by her husband, James Bevilacqua; and her brother, Victor Montgomery.

Arlene’s family will gather privately to pay their final respects at 2:00 pm on Thursday, December 5, at R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. A celebration of her life will follow at 4:00 pm, at Calvary Baptist Church, 75 Calvary Dr. Norwich.
