He was born on Sept. 23, 1933 in Montville to the late Adolph and Alvina (Fiertag) Milefski. After completing Palmer Memorial School he enlisted in the US Army where he served his country until his Honorable Discharge. He worked as a Tow Motor Operator at Federal Paperboard in Sprague until an industrial accident forced his retirement. He remained active by gardening, watching old Western movies and driving his 1986 Chevy El Camino visiting with friends. He enjoyed time with friends and loved his family.
He is survived by his son William Milefski of Taftville, niece and Goddaughter, Doreen Beattie of Wethersfield and several more nieces, nephews and close friends. He was predeceased by three sisters: Martha Edwards, Helen Chernik and Emma Beattie as well as two brothers; Adolph and Gustof Milefski.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, 53 Norwich-New London Tnpk., Uncasville at 11am. Burial with Military Honors will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery in Norwich. Calling hours are from 9am until the time of service.
