He was born on Nov 29, 1960 in Stafford Springs, CT to the late Norman Morse and Dorothy Gabriele. He worked as a painter for Electric Boat in Groton until his retirement. He lived in Norwich most of his life, recently moving to South Carolina.
Wayne was a huge NASCAR and Cowboys fan and enjoyed his many collections. We will always remember his outrageous sense of humor, his endless love of his family and his unrestrained honesty. He will be missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his son; Wayne Morse Jr and wife Kimberly, daughter; Meghan Mandeville and husband Michael, brother; Richard Morse and Joyce, sisters; Melinda Deschamps and husband Robert, Andria Nieves, grandchildren; Maxsim, Ava, and Laylani and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother; Norman “Tony” Morse, and one son; Scott Morse.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11am at Church & Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem St., Norwich, CT.Calling hours will be held from 9am until the time of the funeral service. Burial is private at the convenience of the family.
