Violet May Schramm

She was a school bus driver in Norwich Ct. and in San Jose, California for many years. Violet took great pride in the fact that she had a perfect driving record for over 30 years and received an award that she loved to show off. She always bragged that the bus was always immaculately clean at all times. "Her Kids" knew better than to leave any trash around and filed into the bus in an orderly fashion and sat in their appointed seats!

She is survived by her daughter, Andrea Crawford, son-in law Richard Crawford, grandchildren Erica and Justin Crawford, great granddaughters Cassidy and Karley Crawford, and her dear friends Kate Clark, Betty and Paul Allard, and Mary and Wayne West.

She was married to her first husband, Orville Anderson in 1945. When she married her second husband, Dewey Schramm, they packed up and moved to San Jose, California. They resided there for many years until 2002 when they decided to return to Norwich to be closer to family.

Funeral Services and burial will be private.
