Tina R. Wilson

Wilson- Tina Rutah Wilson passed away peacefully in the presence of loved ones in Tampa Fl, on December 30, 2017. She was born in Norwich Ct. of January 4, 1958, the daughter of Marion G. Rucker, Jr. and Carrie E. Rucker who survives her. She graduated from Norwich Free Academy in 1975 and attended Cheyney University of West Chester, Pa. Tina was employed at the Naval Healthcare New England Submarine Base of New London for approximately twenty five years. She was a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, the Dr. Martin Luther King Center and active member of the Evans Memorial A.M.E. Zion Church of Norwich. Tina is survived by her loving husband Thomas Wilson, a son Senior Airman Quintin C. Rice, a daughter Hilliary L.V. Rice, her brothers Marion G. (Michelle) Rucker III, Jame A. (Delya) Rucker, several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Calling hours will be held Saturday, January 13, 2017 at the Evans Memorial Church 2 McKinley Ave. Norwich at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery Norwich.
