Preston-Timothy Alan Serra, age 69, of Preston, passed away at William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich on October 3, 2022. He was born in Norwich on November 9, 1952 to the late John and Veronica (Conaty) Serra. He graduated from NFA, class of 1971. He was married to his wife Louise (Kordelski) Serra for 49 years. She survives him.
Timothy was a talented machinist who worked for Hubbell Division in Stonington for 27 years. He loved dogs, fishing, yard work, classic car shows and spending time at the beach. He also coached girls softball in Preston.
Besides his loving wife, he is survived by a daughter Beth Serra of Preston, a son Michael Serra and his fiancé Krista of Oakdale and a grandson Jameson Serra and his mother Tabitha of Montville. He also leaves behind brothers John Serra of Rocky Hill and Richard Serra (Darlene) of Preston as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by a brother Patrick Serra.
