She was born on Aug. 8, 1914 in Norwich to the late Umberto and Ida (Ferri) Tombari. She married her beloved husband Phillip Lucarelli who predeceased her in 1985.
Teresa worked at Reid & Hughes in Norwich and supported the family business of Laurel Tire throughout her life. She was active in the Norwich Senior Center including being a member of the Golden Nugget Chorus.
She is survived by her daughter; Phyllis Emdee and her husband Bill of Beavers Dam, NY, a son; Gerald Lucarelli and his wife Diane of Baltic, one sister; Henrietta Sullivan of Plainfield, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Alice Lucarelli, a brother-in-law John Lucarelli, several nieces and nephews and a myriad of friends she made throughout her life. She was also predeceased by her brothers; Joseph “Pete” Tombari, Enzo Tombari, and Dr. S.P. Tombari. She was also predeceased by her childhood sister, Enricetta.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:30am at St. Mary Church, 70 W. Town St., Baltic, immediately followed by interment at St. Joseph Cemetery in Norwich. A Calling Hour will be held from 9:00am – 10:00am at Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Ave., Norwich, CT the same morning.
