Mary Quarto Grillo

Sterling-Mary P. (Quarto) Grillo, age 85, of Sterling passed away at Norwichtown Rehabilitation and Care Center on June 27, 2012. She was born on June 27, 1927 in Norwich to the late Basil and Palmina Quarto. She married her late husband Samuel W. Grillo at St. Patrick Cathedral in Norwich on September 5, 1949.

Mary is survived by sons Dennis Grillo and his wife Sharon of Norwich, Daniel Grillo and his wife Cassie of Norwich, Dean Grillo and his wife Rosemarie of Bozrah, Donald Grillo and his wife Susan Louise of Sterling and a daughter Diane Semmelrock of California. She also leaves behind grandchildren Tiffany, Travis, Eric, Krystle, Joshua, Chanel, Shannon and Jennifer, great grandchildren Samuel, Shawn, Jasmine, Jeremy, Tyson, Tevin, Tiara, Jeremy, Ariana and Katie as well as several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 181 Elizabeth St., Norwich on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Please visit www.churchandallen.com to leave an online condolence for the Grillo family.
