Mark Steven Gendron Sr.

Salem-Mark Steven Gendron Sr., age 52, of Salem, passed away on August 24, 2021. He was born in Groton on February 6, 1969 to Yvonne (Widor) Gendron and the late Arthur Gendron. He married Christina (Clark) Gendron in North Stonington in 2018.

Mark swam for NFA and Southern Connecticut State University, where he attended college. He worked as a state trooper for the State of Connecticut.

Besides his loving mother and wife, Mark is survived by a son Mark Gendron Jr. of Salem, a son Matthew Gendron of Salem, a stepson Brandon Rebelo of Salem, and a step daughter Ariana Rebelo of Salem. He also leaves behind a brother Gerald Gendron and his wife Amy of Norwich, a sister Ronnette Bernatovich and her husband Andrew of Washington, a sister in law Julia Gendron and nieces and nephews Danielle, Brittany, Chance, Rayce, Shea, Ian, Christine and Kimberly. He was predeceased by his brother Shayne Gendron.
