for with your love, I was so blessed

Marian was a home maker and girl scout leader and was a longtime member of Christ Episcopal Church in Norwich. She loved gardening, sewing, consignment shopping, traveling, camping, square dancing (she could never get Antonio to square dance; he was much happier to be a spectator), and bowling. She was a spirited soul and always made people laugh. On the night before she passed, she spoke with God and got the hospital’s attending chaplain, a rabbi, to sing the hymn “In the Garden” with her. Marian lived quite a long life and saw so many changes in the world but lived her life her own way. We were fortunate to have her in our lives for almost 92 years and will be missed. Visitation will be Friday February 22, 2019 from 10:00 -11:00 a.m. at the Labenski Funeral Home 107 Boswell Avenue Norwich followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery Norwich. Please visit www.labenskifuneralhome.com to leave an online tribute or condolence.
