Margaret Perrone

She was born on May 29, 1932 in Norwich to the late Edgar and Margaret(Slattery) Robsky. She graduated from Norwich Free Academy, class of 1950. After high school she worked as a credit manager for the former Reid & Hughes Inc in downtown Norwich. In 1957 she married her beloved husband Arthur ”Art” Perrone. He survives her.

Marge stayed at home once she and Art began their family. The consummate mother and homemaker, she was involved in every aspect of her children’s lives. She was a Girl Scout Leader and a Cub Scout Den Mother. She returned to her job as credit manager at Reid & Hughes once her children were grown and worked there until retirement . When not working, Marge loved the beach especially Cape Cod. She also loved the snow and watching a good snowfall from her picture window. She collected snowmen and Christmas decorations . She loved vacations and enjoyed 3 cross country adventures by car with her family . But her biggest joy was her grandchildren. The twinkle in her eye, the excitement and enthusiasm was obvious every time she was with them.

Besides her husband Art, she is also survived by her children Linda DeLuca and her husband Sal, Thomas Perrone and his wife Mary and James Perrone. Sisters Teresa Miller and Carol Keramidas, brothers in-law James Keramidas and Domenic Perrone, sisters in-law Annette Perrone and Ann Perrone her grandchildren Mason and Kylen Perrone and Colin Brouwer Nicholas, Olivia, and Max DeLuca her best friend for life Janet Puccini Stone and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers Arthur and William Robsky.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 13th at 1pm at Sacred Heart Church, 52 West Town St., Norwich, CT with procession to burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, 815 Boswell Av in Norwich immediately following. Calling hours are private.
