Linda Guerriero

Linda Guerriero, 66, of South Windsor, CT (formally of East Hartford) after battling cancer for a year and a half passed peacefully on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital from the COVID virus.

Linda was predeceased by her parents, Salvatore (Doc) and Carol Guerriero of East Hartford, CT

Linda leaves her beloved husband, David Young, (also formally of East Hartford), 3 step-daughters,

Letitia Young of Hartford, Julia Young of San Diego, CA and Erica Young of Hartford, two grandsons, Nathan Perez and Damian Risley, two brothers-in-law, John Young, Charlie Young (predeceased) two sisters-in-law, Patty Griswold and her husband Glenn of South Windsor, and Susan Ng of Bolton, three cousins, David Penlerick of Cornwall, England, John and Marilyn LaBruno of West Hartford, and several nieces and nephews. Last, but not least, her 3 cherished doggies, Roxie, Tucker and Sherman.

Linda was a woman with a beautiful soul and a huge heart of gold. She had a true spirit of service which she showed through her enormous generosity towards others. She reached out to many she recognized were in need, and whatever the need was she did her best to provide for them. She had many friends, old and new and loved and embraced each one in such a way that they felt so very special to her…and they were. She loved to cook and bake, and was very skilled at both, but even more than that she loved to feed people the fruits of her labor! But Linda’s true passion was her family. She loved being a wife, mother and grandmother (Nonna) and felt so very blessed to have the opportunity to express that love unconditionally. Linda’s passing has created a huge void in all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.
