Lance Jason Kolada of Norwich died unexpectedly at his home on January 25, 2021 while recovering from a medical hospitalization. Lance graduated from the Norwich Free Academy as a member of the class of 1984.
Lance was employed by The Department of Public Utilities for the City of Norwich for 34 years and held a few different positions over his employment career.
Lance was born on March 23, 1966, the son of Walter Kolada whom was deceased on January 7, 1999 and his survived by his mother Barbara Kolada also from Norwich, Ct.
Lance is survived by his siblings Linda Lee Smith of New London, Ct., Lawrence Kolada of Plainfield, Ct., and Laurie George of Dallas/Fort Worth, Tx.
One of Lance’s pleasures in life was establishing a fruit tree orchard at his home with numerous varieties totaling around 50.
