Helen B. Mann

While living in Racine she worked at Western Union and John Oster Mfg.

Helen met her future husband Darrell here, where he was serving in the U.S. Navy. They were married Nov. 12,1955 in Racine. They were married for 66 years until Darrell’s death. They lived in Racine until Darrell was transferred to New London Ct. to continue his Navy career on submarines. They also lived in Hawaii, Newport Va., Charleston S. Carolina, and then returned to New London.

She leaves behind a daughter Jeanne Platt of Canterbury, a son Raymond Mann of Kingman Arizona, 5 grandchildren; Heather Platt of Brooklyn, Kimberly Platt of Canterbury, Amber McClurg (Shaun) of Hampton, Tasha Pendergast (Nick) of Belmont NH, and Ashley Nyberg (Chris) of Franklin NH.

She also leaves behind 7 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband Darrell L. Mann.
