He was born on March 11, 1952 in Wichita, KS, the son of Henry and Mary (Stadnick) Rigero. He married Christine A. Rivera on May 9, 1981. She predeceased him on March 10, 2012.
David was the owner of Stony Ridge Landscaping for the past 20 years. He performed landscaping services and built stone walls, walkways, and patios. The pride and perfection he took in his projects portrayed the work of a true craftsman.
David was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses in 1977 and served faithfully until his death. His life revolved around his love for his Creator and his love for people. He touched the lives of many people both young and old. Those who knew him loved him and will miss him dearly.
David is survived by his sisters, Joanne Remondi and her husband Alan of Norwich, CT, and Cynthia Rigero of Lincoln, RI, his nieces, Amy and Susan Remondi, and his ever faithful loving cat, Pancho.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday Oct 11, at Veterans Memorial School, 325 Route 165, Preston, CT at 1 pm. The family will receive visitors at 12 pm, and also immediately after the Memorial Service until 5 pm.
