Daniel passed away Aug. 3rd 2016 at home surrounded by his three children, after his battle with cancer. He was born in Norwich Ct. to the late Herbert and Jacqueline Hamill. He leaves behind three siblings Jackie Kittle, Jim Hamill, and Cliff Hamill, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dan was a wonderful father to his three children, Amy, Daniel, and Ryan and his life was all about them including his own grandchildren, Emma, Alex, and Chace. He also leaves behind a daughter in law Jessica who he loved very much. He was well known to be very social and had friends from all walks of life throughout the country. Fondest memories are his stories, laid back personality and kind nature. A Celebration of his life will be held at Port & Starboard Ocean Beach New London Sept. 10, 2016 from 1-4 pm., as he would have enjoyed reminiscing and eating/drinking with all that shared his life with him.
