Norwich-Cynthia (Feeney) Taylor, 51, of Norwich, passed into eternal peace on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Hartford Hospital where she was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 10, 1962 in New London, the daughter of John Feeney of Noank, and Nancy Feeney of Quaker Hill. Cindy was employed many years at the Otis Library in Norwich, CT. Cindy loved nature, gardening, the beach, Cape Cod, baking, cooking and reading. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints in Norwich, CT. On October 5, 1998, she was married to Robert L. Taylor, Jr. who survives her. Besides her husband and parents, including her stepmother, Honore Feeney, she is also survived by her son Edwin Gibbons, III, of Quaker Hill, brothers Dennis Feeney and his wife Angelina of Tennessee; Michael Feeney and fiancé Teri Nofer of Hebron; John Feeney Jr. of Quaker Hill; Aaron Shoemaker of Westerly, RI; and sister Mary Feeney and her partner Raymond Williams of Norwich. She also leaves behind brother-in-laws John Stafford of Jewett City, and William Taylor of Colchester, a sister-in law Sue Perry of Bozrah and nieces and nephews, Andrew Perry, Matthew Perry, Brianna Taylor, Christopher Taylor, John David Bishop, Brandy Williams Dustyn Larsen and William Senuta.
