He was born in New London on 9/4/1970 to Charles and Joann (Sikorski) Zito Sr. After completing school, Chucky served for 8 years in the Army National Guard until his honorable discharge. He worked for Carpenter’s Local 24. He enjoyed auto racing, especially his driver, Dale Earnhart Jr., the Patriots, NY Yankees, fishing in Florida, and spending time with family and friends.
Chucky is survived by his father Charles Sr. and step-mother Jerri-Ann Zito , brother; Jeffrey Zito, sister; Dana Tackling, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, grandparents; Melchorrie & Jean Zito, and Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Sikorski.
Special thanks to Chucky’s step-mom Jerri-Ann who cared for him like he was her own, his sister Dana, Godmother Maria Vollaro, special Uncle Al Vollaro, Lucy who laid by his side and the exceptional caregivers of Hospice of SECT, especially Kathy, Jim and Virgina.
There are no calling hours. A Funeral Service will be held at 1pm on Thursday at the Assembly of God Church, 340 New London Tnpk., Norwich, CT. Burial will be private. Correspondences may be sent to Chucky’s father and step-mother’s home, 34114 Brown Bayou, Wesley Chapel, FL 33543.
