Ann (Barber) Laliberte, 65, formerly of Warwick, RI., and Lisbon, CT., passed away on October 8, 2018 at the W.W. Backus Hospital, following a brief illness. She was born April 5th, 1953 in Pawtucket to the late Thomas and Mary Barber, and graduated from Tolman High School and Rhode Island Junior College. She was most recently employed by WalMart of Lisbon. Annie was an active member of the St. Peter's Parish in Warwick, RI while her children attended school there. She loved nothing more than spending time with her beloved grandchildren, making room for their Lego creations, and watching UCONN women's basketball and TV Land reruns of M*A*S*H. She will be most remembered for her colorful language, her quick wit, and her heart that was far bigger than her frame. She is survived by her son Philip Laliberte and his wife Bronagh of Warwick, her daughter Jennifer Nowakowski and her husband David of Lisbon, and her son Matthew Laliberte and his wife Crystal of Attleboro, MA, as well as her four grandchildren, Brock, Reed, Trey & Sage Nowakowski, her brother Thomas and Sue Barber, her sister Kathy Doyle, her sister Mary Jo and Lester Kennedy, her brother John Barber, her former husband Robert and his fiancee Maureen, numerous nieces and nephews, and camping friends at Sunfox and Strawberry Park. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, October 14 from 5PM until 7PM at the Labenski Funeral Home, 107 Boswell Avenue in Norwich, CT. Her funeral service will be celebrated Monday, October 15th at 10 AM at the Preston City Congregational Church, 321 CT-164, Preston, CT.
