Juan was Born in Fabens Texas on March 27, 1941. He passed away on December 22, 2015 in Reseda, California. Juan is preceded in death by his parents Silvestre and Elena Castro and siblings Jose and Maria Theresa.
Juan served proudly from 1963 to 1966 in the United States Army and was a Vietnam Veteran. He was Honorably Discharged.
After serving in the military, Juan came to California with then wife Judy Lynch and son, Rodney Lynch and his daughter Sandra. In 1974 he obtained a job at Anheuser Busch and retired after 28 years of service from the Quality Assurance Department and the local Teamsters Union.
Juan is survived by his daughter Sandra (David Woods); siblings Nelly, Francis, Elvida, Lydia, Eystolia, Roberto, Carmen, Silvestre, Jr., and Maria De La Cruz.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 2, from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. with a prayer service beginning at 7:00 P.M.
Interment will take place at Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Fabens, Texas.
Services under the direction of Bastian & Perrott, Oswald Mortuary, Northridge, California.
