I moved away to North Carolina and I remember Jim very well. He was a nice man, very friendly and I always say hi to him when I saw him at mass. His wife was sweet. I give him credit as he lost a lot of weight. He did a lot with the church. He will be missed by his family, many friends and who ever came in contact with him. My condolence to the family. He will be dearly missed. He is now at home and in peace with the good Lord. He is in heaven with my husband who passed away last year. Send hugs and love your way. Love, Mary Patricia Colin

My parents Tom & Opal were friends of Jim and his family for many years at OLL.   I personally worked with and enjoyed Jim as a trusted advisor and friend for 30+ years myself.   
Jim was a thoughtful, kind, and caring person in all respects.  We are saddened by his passing - yet feel richer by having had the benefit of Jim in our lives for many years.  
He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences go out to Jims wife and son. I work for Sullivan Court Reporters and I had the pleasure to get to know Jim when I first started working here in 2012. Jim was so patient and taught me so much, he was always such a friendly voice on the other end of the phone. We would often talk about his Hawaiian condo that he just loved and he helped me build my itinerary for my Maui trip in 2018. I was lucky enough to still get to talk to Jim once in a while after he retired some years ago. Jim was a great man and had such an awesome sense of humor. My heart broke this morning when I learned of his passing.  I will truly miss Jim and I wish comfort and peace to his family. Thank you Jim for all the laughs and fascinating conversations, and most of all for your help and guidance when I was newly working for Sullivan. RIP Jim.
