Dora (Yuuko) Silva passed away of a heart attack on Monday evening, December 21st. It was a shock to us all. According to her doctor, she suffered from severe COPD and Emphysema for over 3 years. Close family and friends were unaware of the gravity of her condition. She told everyone that she was of great health because she didn't want anyone to worry about her. That sickness is what caused the heart attack.
Born in Lima, Peru to Tomio & Matsue Nabeta, Dora was the 3rd oldest in a family of 6 (2 brothers, 3 sisters). Dora is survived by her siblings: Yoji, Shino and Susie, her husband: Clyde, her children: Robert and his wife Evana, Tanya and her husband Nick, and her grandchildren: Lanah, Kai, Emiko and Zoe.
We will miss her laugh.
Service will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 5pm (Pacific Time). Due to the ongoing pandemic,
the Memorial Service will be held virtually. When it is safer to travel, Dora's children will take her ashes to be buried in Peru.
