Preceding Mr. Collins in death besides his parents is his brother, Mike Collins; great grandson, MJ Collins; nieces, Samantha Collins and Ashely Rowe and nephew Noah Collins.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Margie Collins; daughter, Towana Smith; sons, Randy (Sharron) Collins, Andy (Mitzi) Collins and Yancy (Kristi) Collins; brothers, Samuel L. Collins, Jr. (Sandra), Bob Collins (Cindy); sister, Sharon Hughes (Reggie); grandchildren, Cody, TR, Cory, Brandon and Cole Collins; Kristian and Jessica Smith; great grandchildren, Jo-Leigh and Riverlee Collins, Muffin and a host of nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life Services will be held Friday, March12, 2021, 11:00 AM from the graveside at Piney Woods Cemetery on Hwy 69 North with Bro. Chad Palmer officiating. There will no visitation held for Mr. Collins.
Serving as pallbearers are Cody Collins, Cory Collins, Brandon Collins, TR Collins, Joseph Collins, Russell Beard, Kristian Smith, Wesley Collins and Christopher Collins.
Honorary pallbearers include the board members and volunteer firefighters of the Wiley Volunteer Fire Department, Amelia Wilcutt, Darvin Horton, Jeremy Morrison, Ronnie Miles and Keith Deason.
Tommy had a selfless passion for helping others in need and honorably served his friends and community as Fire Chief of Wiley Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years. He will forever be remembered for his musical talent and he loved to play with his sons and grandchildren. Tommy never found instrument he couldn’t play. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. His grandchildren and great grandchildren were the loves of his life. He took great pride and joy teaching and taking them fishing and hunting.
