Roy was a wonderful brother and I will never forget  his love and kindness to me through the years. I honestly cannot remember ever having a disagreement with him! He loved everyone and was willing to help any way possible if there was a need to be met. He will be greatly missed and I look forward to our heavenly reunion one day! Rest in peace sweet brother until we meet again. I will always love you and cherish all the fond memories of time spent together.

This is a picture of Uncle Roy and I (Tasha), while on a trip to the beach when I was young. I may not be able to remember all the details of this trip, or even how old I was when it was taken, but I do, and always will, remember how his voice sounded when he used to say  ( TA- sha) when he’d say my name. I will always remember how warm & tight his hugs were, and how much Him and my Aunt Loretta always made me feel so loved and cared for when they babysat me. Many of my most significant childhood memories have, my Uncle Roy and Aunt Loretta in them. Which is why no words can truly describe the sorrow I feel, or do justice for the sympathies I feel for you (Aunt Loretta, Charlie and David) with dealing with the loss of such a wonderful Husband & Father, that truly loved with his whole heart. I just pray that during this time of grief, you all find peace in the love and care of those around you, to get you through the days ahead. May love &  prayer ease the pain of this loss, so that you may find strength and comfort knowing he’s now pain free, walking with Jesus. I know he is looking down on you, watching over you all, waiting for the day that you’re all together once again. I hope he will always be remembered,  by the warm, kind and  gentle spirit he had always been and not by the way he left us in the end. I  also Pray with the upmost sincerity, that you find solace in the loving memories you shared with Uncle Roy, and they stay untainted from the tragedy of his loss.

Rest in peace my brother .I love you and will miss you sorely. Thank you for the many years of service to our country, Thank ypu for always remembering my birthday and christmas ..it was a pleasure looking foward to the cards that never failed to arrive throuh the years with  hand written notes with a prayer for my well being. I won't say goodbye ,but until we meet again rest easy my brother.

Uncle Roy,
You will be missed so much and I am blessed to have had you as one of my Uncles.  You were always so good to my girls, Tasha and Amber, and you created some good memories with them.  My heart hurts that you are gone, but I am so grateful you are no longer in pain.  I love you Uncle Roy and hope you are enjoying your heavenly body.  Watch over Aunt Loretta and I'm sure you will.   I'm sorry I didn't get to say goodbye and hope you know how very much you are loved.
