Mr. Raymond Cecil Taylor

Raymond Cecil Taylor, age 67, of Tuscaloosa, died November 18, 2010, at home. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Boone Cemetery in the New Lexington community with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Daniel Taylor.

Survivors include special friends, Vivian and Frankie Hayes; his daughters, Janet Howley (Joe) of Tuscaloosa and April Taylor of Selma; his sons, Gary Taylor (Kris) and Chris Taylor (Nancy), both of Tuscaloosa; his sisters, Shirley Price of Tuscaloosa, June Muse (Marvin) of Texas, Bonnie Taylor of Tuscaloosa, and Nona Smith (Charles) of Tuscaloosa; his brother, Johnny Taylor (Shelia) of Indiana; his mother, Elizabeth Smith Taylor; his grandchildren, Stacy Cash, Brandon Davis, Holly Davis, Courtney Taylor, Brittany Curington, Amber Howley, Sara Taylor, Michael Ayala, and Selina Ayala; and his great-grandchildren, Gracie and Mitchel Cash, Mathew and Sawyer Davis, and Ella Brooke Darley.

A loving father, Raymond will be missed by us all. While our hearts are heavy and hurting, we know your pain and suffering are done. You left to a better place; you knew it was your time to go. A wish for one more day will not be granted. We hold you in our hearts with precious memories, knowing we will meet again someday.

Pallbearers will be Mike Price, Larry Price, Paul Price, Timmy Price, Ken Griffin, Frankie Hayes, and Ryan and Jason Lietch.

Honorary pallbearers are family and friends.
