Mary Jean Talley Faulkner

Mary Jean Talley Faulkner, age 79, of Northport, died June 23, 2012, at home. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Northport Church of God with Bishop Greg Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Me-morial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the church.

She was preceded in death by her spouses, Charles Talley and William Faulkner; dad, James M. Franks; mom, Ola Mae Franks; brothers, J.O. Franks (Fatty) and Edward Franks (Lucile); and grandparents.

Survivors include her daughters, Barbara Gibson (John) of Madison, Charlotte Skelton (Jerry) of Buhl, and Tanya Talley of Northport; son, Mike Talley (Tammy); stepsons, Steve Faulkner (Barbara) and Grover Faulkner; special sister-in-law, Ruby Cleary; brother-in-law, Melvin Talley (Audrey); special aunt, Ann Johnson; grandchildren, Stuart Gibson, Jason Gibson (Sara), Hoss Skelton (Donna), Terrill Skelton (Kelli), Ve-ronica Redding (Jef-frey), and Valerie Miller (Nathan); great-grandchildren, Dalton Gibson, Charlie Gibson, Georgia Gibson (not yet born), Olivia Skelton, Logan Skelton, Scott Keeton, Mason Skelton, Maggie Skelton, Talley Grace Redding, Mary Ella Redding; and nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Stuart Gibson, Jason Gibson, Hoss Skelton, Terrill Skelton, Jeffrey Redding, and Nathan Miller.

Honorary pallbearers are Bishop Greg and Jenny Strickland, Pastor Kristen and Michelle McGarity, Pastor Becky Spires, Pastor Todd and Melodie Goalan, Dr. Larry Skelton, Dr. Robards, Dr. Alilonu and staff, special domino players, Mary Rhodes, Ruby Cleary, Alice Smalley, Eula Phillips, Margaret Tierce, Lola Talley, and Julie Burroughs, Northport Church of God family, Amedisys staff, Christy, Mary, Stephanie, Teresa, Amy, Leigh, Chaplain Damon, and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Amedisys Hospice or Northport Church of God Honduras Mission Fund.
