COKER – Leonard Milton Bailey, age 67, of Coker, Ala., died April 25, 2018, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at Sunset Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Tindle officiating. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park with Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his father, William P. Bailey; mother, Inez R. Bailey; brothers, Darrell Bailey and Dennis Bailey; and sister, Becky Boothe.
Survivors include his wife, LaJuana (Lou) W. Bailey; sisters, Laura Franz, Sharon Dockery (Doug) and Carolyn Peck (Dale); and brothers, Ronnie Bailey (Denise), Danny Bailey (Mary), Tim Bailey (Tawanika) and Scott Bailey.
A best husband a person could ask for for 46 years. He worked at Reichhold Chemicals, Hunt Oil Refinery and Delphi (Division of General Motors). He loved to fish, hunt and travel. He was always willing to help anyone that needed help. He loved Alabama football. Everyone who knew him loved him.
Pallbearers will be John Colee, Jimmy Shaw, Mike Largin, Ken Largin, Steve Musick and Joe LeBerte.
